GET TO KNOW BELLA:
I was born and raised in Virginia, my journey into the beauty industry wasn’t exactly a straight path, but I truly believe it led me right where I’m meant to be.
I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in 2022 with my bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology. In early 2023, I moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where I worked full-time as a paralegal while preparing for law school. But as I got closer to that next chapter, I realized my heart was pulling me toward something more creative and hands-on.
Looking back, my love for hair had always been there. Growing up, I was constantly styling my mom’s and friends’ hair. I was always that girl at summer camp with a line of girlies waiting by my bunk bed to get their French braids done. Funny how sometimes your passion has been right in front of you all along.
So, instead of heading to law school, I took a leap of faith and enrolled in Paul Mitchell cosmetology school. While continuing to work full-time at the law firm, I attended classes part-time in the evenings and proudly graduated in May 2025.
After graduating, I had the opportunity to work with an agency on everything from commercials and music videos to weddings and special events. I loved the creativity and behind-the-scenes magic, but I knew I wanted to experience the salon side of the industry, too!
In July 2026, I moved to the Jacksonville area for a fresh start and the opportunity to grow as a stylist, build lasting client relationships, and fully immerse myself in salon life.

A: The Haircut Refresh is ideal for returning guests who need a maintenance trim on their established style. The Haircut Rebrand is reserved for new guests or any client seeking a major transformation, such as a significant length or shape change. This distinction ensures we have enough time for a complimentary in-depth consultation to craft your new look.
Q: Do I need to book a separate consultation before my appointment?
A: Generally, no. Every new guest service (like the Haircut Rebrand) and color service includes a complimentary consultation at the beginning of the session to discuss your preferences and goals.
Q: What amenities are included with my visit to Studio Sage?
A: We want you to relax and feel pampered! Every service includes a selection of refreshments, including light snacks, chilled water, white or red wine, and local Florida-roasted Kahwa coffee brewed in our Jura coffee machine
Q: How do I add a deep conditioning treatment or gloss to my service?
A: If you would like to add a Gloss for color vibrancy or a Deep Hair Treatment for hydration and repair, please simply make a written note of it at the time of booking online so I can prepare the right formula for you.
