Set yourself up for success and never be caught off guard. Ultimately, their happiness is contingent on yours. That’s why it’s so important to know who your ideal clientele is and how to attract those guests that keep you excited, wealthy and elevated.
All new guests will be asked to complete a very brief intake questionnaire. The goal of this process is to design a roadmap that shows them a clear path to their destination. Establish trust with someone who doesn’t already know you by showing them how you intend to get them where they want to be. Ask leading but subtle questions in order to retain the right guests and avoid the wrong ones (be sure that the intention behind each question isn’t too obvious).

If applicable, reference your referral program and integrate
Stay ahead of any red flags and prepare yourself for a potential project in advance. This is especially helpful for stylists who don’t require a consultation prior to service.

The Welcome Email
Make sure new clients feel acknowledged and comfortable.
The day of your appointment, you’ll receive a final confirmation text message, please respond upon arrival to the salon at 123 mockingbird lane. When everything has been sanitized I’ll meet you outside and we’ll do a quick temperature check. i definitely encourage you to arrive a few minutes early as I will likely need you to provide some information before we get started.
Being so close to the beach is incredible for the aesthetics and vibe, but parking can get a little challenging. As a last resort, we have a private lot secluded behind our plaza that you're welcome to use.
If you're like me, there's a good chance you'll arrive early and that's okay! Enjoy a little extra time away from kids or work by visiting the deli two doors down from us. They offer healthy breakfast and lunch options. It's a life saver for longer appointments!
